1098 Losing Weight With Benefits

  1. Found the pics I took a few years ago when upgrading the tank on the 1098R. An easy way to lose over a kilo and gain extra fuel capacity!

  4. Just a(nother) thought - what’s the weight of the additional fuel? Does it exceed the weight saving?

  8. I reckon the scales are showing pounds as the standard tank surely isn’t over 10kg?

  9. Yes you are right. 1.69lbs/l so 2 litres to break even although I’m not sure of my maths. Andy
