The new owner had better not bugger it up, though.......

  2. I went from a 750ss to a 999 and absolutely love it.
Even better handling, similar weight and double the power = intoxicating...

  3. Set of golf clubs and a trolley....

  4. Golf. A new kind of 'buy because its new' crazy

  5. Golf is the game you play before you die........I'm not going to encourage Mr De'Ath.............

I was thinking of some sort of V-twin again.........(possibly with the pots arranged slightly differently...........but no belts anywhere)

  12. You would fall off a zimmer frame even if it had stabilsers, Paul.

I know all about stuffing glands, Chris

  14. Moving over to the Darkside, you mean? :smilingimp:

  15. Moto Guzzi Griso looks nice. not sure if 31" seat height would be a problem? never ridden one, but do like the look of them.

  16. Yes, I like the Griso...........my mate has one...........but bearing in mind my Le Mans was heavy enough when I was fit and healthy, I find the Griso even heavier.

What I think I need is low down weight (even if it is a bit heavier than the SS) higher bars and low seat.

I sat on a very low 1200 Sportster this morning and found it quite easy to move it about and with my feet flat on the ground (with knees bent).......trouble is, it has been customised and not very well done, so I would be spending a lot of time and money rather than riding...............that's apart from the fact the forward controls are too far forward, so my little legs won't reach!

I also sat on an immaculate Road King Classic.........Yes I can just about get my feet down, but bloody hell, it was heavy.......I was sweating to bring it upright and the footboards didn't help much with getting my feet down.

Maybe a Moto Morini would be OK......
