One of things that I have found tricky despite the optional Ducati low seat being fitted, is what a tall little bugger she is. Almost to the point of buying something else, but everything I tried didn't feel as rewarding as "long legged Scarlett" I'm so chuffed now, yesterday I took her down to Marc at Saddle Sore ted (07778 991 102) after a couple of hours he had reshaped the seat to make it nearly another inch lower, but also thinner on the top edge. Whilst I still cant get both feet firmly on the floor (I don't need to) I can now get a solid footing when stopped or when Mrs Deaks (to be) is mounting or dismounting, without searching for a kerb to assist. Marc managed to refit the original cover, so it still looks stock. Its only when you see the seat pre and post mod side by side that you see the difference. The difference riding the bike is great. At last I feel a bit more planted in stop start situations. I now have no reason what so ever to get rid of the lovely Scarlett, despite her long legs Best £60 I've spent in a long time. Deaks \m/
a truly minimialist master...bellypans removed, mirrors, exhaust and seat shortnend, tail cut, new brakegear pedals...car gone, garage empty, even the piece of wood has got smaller...
