V2 Lowering The Pegs

Discussion in 'Panigale' started by Bigcalm, Sep 4, 2021.

  1. Hey
I'm trying to get more room on my '21 V2
I'm 6'3" with long legs / short body and cramp up quite quickly

I managed to fit a peg lowering kit for my 998, but can't find anything for a V2 other than rearsets?

    Anyone found a lowering kit?
    Cheers

  2. Haven't seen any lowering kits, but you can fit a raised seat that has the same affect. The Ducati Performance one is a 20mm lift.

  3. Just don't get he race seat from Ducati if it's road riding as you will hate it, there is also a touring one I believe that's also 20mm higher.

  4. Hi there
Lightech rear sets can give you 20mm lower if you use the lowering bracket which you have to buy separately. Expensive game though

  5. A gel comfort pad on your seat will also have the effect of giving you more leg room

Alternatively, make your own. When I bought my Aprilia it was fitted with a home made footrest lowering kit. Two pieces of approx 5mm thick ali that had been marked up and drilled to the original holes, then the holes simply duplicated and drilled 25mm lower. Invisible once all was bolted back in place.

  6. That's what the Ducati Performance touring seat is, but fits straight on

  7. Yes, agreed, but there are many pads that can be simply placed on top of the standard seat, giving the option of an inexpensive (perhaps less cosmetically satisfying) solution to the problem, or a good way to check it is the answer before buying the DP seat
