I have two into one on my 900ie. To answer your question "Does it work" is not so straight forward. My bike has a great deal of mods so knowing whether the gains are from a single change or the result of a combination is hard to say. I can say its lighter and it sounds good. To my eyes 2-1 looks better., though the muffler is a bit longer than I (currently) would like.
