Hi. I am a new member. I own a 1996 M900, The bike started running on one cylinder last year. After changing all the ignition parts Transducers, CDI units, Coils, plugs and leads. It started to pop back on tick over, the carbs have been cleaned, main jets changed and service parts fitted. I can't get the bike to stop popping back on
Hi. Thanks for asking. The bike only seems to pop back when on tick over and sounds like it is running 1 and 1/2 cylinders.
It might be better if you can to record what you’re experiencing, it sounds like you’ve one cylinder misfiring and the unburnt fuel is igniting in the exhaust. So more like an intermittent misfire?
