Matched Betting

  1. Has anyone ever done any matched betting? The Mrs showed me a Facebook post over the christmas period thinking that I'd have a look and give it a go. Basically, its pretty much risk free, tax free and if you've got a spare few hours each week you can make a tidy sum.

In the first week of January I was off work and spent a good amount of time matching bets and made over £300 profit. Sounds too good to be true and I'm normally a sceptical man but thought I'd give it a go. So far so good.

I signed up to this site:

Matched Betting Made Easy | Profit Accumulator

I signed up to the platinum membership but there are some free offers if you just want to give it a go.

Hope it helps give you some extra cash for the New Year, let me know how you get on!

  2. Is this the real Rob or a Robot Rob Scam and how will we ever know? If El T confirms it we know to tread careful :Nailbiting::Wideyed:

  9. So, in layman's terms - what is it?

  10. You take advantage of all the bookies free bets that they dish out to make money. To qualify for the free bet you make a bet, with say Bet365.... then bet against that bet with another 'exchange' bookie (someone like Betfair). They cancel each other out, you then get a free £20 bet and repeat the process for a profit.

Watch this video for an explanation.

  11. I used to do something similar, but bookies got wise.

You used (about 4 years ago) get a free bet up to your stake on any bet, most maxed at £25, so i would bey on a (almost) dead cert like Nadal (when he was good) to beat a no hoper, make virtually 0 profit but bag the free bet. Get 2 free bets and match them up against each other on tennis/snooker/anything where you can't draw at odds of around evens and just pocket the winnings. Made about £250 across all the bookies. I could have gone again with mums address, new email account and different bank account but they changed to to "odds of evens or more" in order to claim the free bet.

  12. Well, pretty much the same, other than the system I posted above removes the risk of losing as you bet against the other bet winning. The site I listed has an odds matching system that makes it really easy.
