Don't know about anyone else , but I shall be glad when this thing is over. The amount of hype is just ridiculous. We all know it is just a money generating machine. I used to enjoy some of the big title fights in the past, however along with a lot of other sports , SKY has just ruined everything with their big money sponsorship selling to the masses. And now this UFC / boxing trash. As time goes on I pine more and more for turning back the clock I really do
If you've seen Connor sparring I'd suggest he's going to get battered... If he doesn't get properly schooled it's fixed in my opinion and they're putting on a show
I used to do a fair bit of MMA and other stuff so curious to see if he manages to last for more than a round or two. I think he's going to be so outclassed boxing Mayweather that it's got potential to be complete trash and I'm suspicious they would put on a show purely because it's such a joke. No way in hell I would pay for it.

If he fights half as well as he did against Hatton, who was at his prime, he'll win at a canter. Just to embarrass and show him up for what he is. Unlike Fury, he's not even a pikey bare buckle backyard boxer to start with. I shan't be watching.

The scrapping will be what keeps McGregor in it for any time I reckon. Mayweather would not last thirty seconds in an MMA ring with McGregor so he'll be trying to bash him around and catch him with what are certainly powerful punches.

Nah. Name the last time floyd knocked someone out. Or fought someone who can kick him from a distance. Or fought someone who can take him down and strangle him. I could beat floyd in an MMA fight.
You can't kick if you head is being knocked back. And if you drop and drive, a side step and undercut would sort it. But agree, he's not the biggest puncher at his weight: but has (did have) the fastest feet and hands by some way. Don't like him, but skill is unrivalled imho
Why is the fight in America and not in a country that both fighters are from or the judge in the ring quite possibly been paid off (again) to favour one side (probably MW side) 1. This round is a boxing match (I had to *search engine* type of fight it was) 2. Re match would only be fair to Macgregor for MMA match...
