Anyone going to this? A few of the DOC branches are meeting at the Ducati stand 12pm on the Sat 12th.
Went today with some mates. Didn’t plan to. gets worse every year. Was nice to see my mates but I really don’t see the point of the show anymore. £20 parking and £20+ or whatever it is for a ticket for a tiny show. real shame. Wouldn’t have gone if it wasn’t for the social.
I was going to go but saw the price and remembered how bad it was the last time I went. much as I would love looking round loads of bikes, I’m glad I didn’t go
The last time I tried to go to the bike show I got as far as Waterloo on the train, then decided it would be more fun to go on a pub crawl with my mates, and look at bikes as they rode past.
I went a couple years ago, back when Covid was just another Chinese bird flu. These used to be worth it if you were after a deal on some new gear but you can usually find those all year round nowadays and don’t have to pay £40 for the privilege
