It's actually on my r1200r which is my all year round commuter. Starts like a dream every time except when I fill the tank. Repeatedly happening. When I go to start it again immediately after filling it up, it is extremely reluctant, and it feels like the battery is about to give up, before reluctantly coughing into life. Then it's immaculate again. Could it be cold petrol or something? Happened this morning again.
Thanks everyone. Either of the above could explain it. Whilst I totally mollycoddle my Ducati, the BM is shamefully neglected as a work bike. Never washed. Only serviced as indicated. I should mind it better as a faithful steed.
