My recently purchased 1000ds will probably have to go as I just cant get on with the riding position. Has anyone got a carby series bike they have modded with decent suspension, lightweight wheels etc that they want to sell? Cheers Ian

Thanks WAH, that bike is on my watch list for the reason you mention. However I have the technical skill set of a 12 year old & the attention span of a 4 year old, so it would almost certainly remain at the "project" stage for the next 18 months if I bought it However what I do have is a black belt in optimism, hence me wondering if someone had done all the hard work for me & is looking to sell it on.
What you need is someone willing, capable & who lives near you that could "supervise" & help. There couldn't be anything better than building a special using someone else's money !!
Hmmm, I have a M900 I'm considering parting with just not a SS I just don't ride it any longer nothing wrong with it seems a shame for it to sit in my garage not getting ridden.
