Looked at a used 1200S Monster today, and was wondering if any owners took a pillion? The wife likes to come out with me, so I'm wanting to know if its any good for a passenger before I take it for a test ride. Cheers
Grin factor no dramas taking the better half on the back.Took she who must be obeyed for 450klms run and the wife said it was comfortable.Previous bike was 954 blade!!!
I've taken a pillion on mine, and it seemed fine. Handling wasn't unduly affected (although she was only about 9st), and I believe the seat to peg ratio isn't too extreme. It's no Multistrada - if you're doing any touring then I'd honestly say get one of those, but for occasional rides it's fine.
