Monster 695 Gear Indicator

  1. Has anyone fitted an aftermarket gear indicator to a 06 era monster, my Yamaha MT03 (sorry!) has one and I have found it very useful, I wondered if I could fit one to my newly acquired 695.

  2. Obviously not!

  3. Hey Tony, I've got a HealTech GIpro-DS gear indicator on my Monster 797 and it's great. It looks like you'd need the GIPro X-type G2 (the GPX-D01 version) which requires a bit more work to fit than the plug'n'play type that I have. You can check out the installation instructions here: https://www.healtech-electronics.com/docs/GPX-D01_D02_InstallGuide_en.pdf
They're not cheap either at £105 (that's from the official UK distributer http://www.bikersdiscountstore.co.u...-type-g2-gear-indicator-shift-light-pd-42.php ) but I think it's worth it. The one thing I've always wanted on every bike I've ever had was a gear indicator!
