I mate of mine has an 821 64 plate from new, Now on 21k, Whilst out riding it went into limp mode, so took it to a Ducati dealer and they diagnosed it was, the fly by wire so they change it and throttle housing for a new one, since then he has done 1k miles and all was good but it has gone back into limp mode, if he turns off the bike waits 5 minutes then starts it up the bike runs perfect for a couple of miles then cuts to limp mode again, He has phoned the dealer and they can't look until mid August, but in the mean time, any suggestions. Dealer mentioned that they had not heard of this problem before
Dealers, they've either never heard of (often common) faults before or they come out with "they all do that sir".
Will be interesting to see if its the same fault or another parts failure, bike was fixed about 6 weeks ago.
