Hi All, A few weeks ago I tried to start my S4R after the winter break, but the battery wouldn't turn it over despite being on a charger the whole time, I have uprated cables from the battery to the starter etc. I managed to jump start it from a car battery, but it kept cutting out over 3-4,000rpm. I checked the voltage whilst it was running and it was up to 17 volts. I have since changed the Electrex World Regulator for a Lithium specific one and my nephew has made me up a Lithium Phosphate battery with a BMS cut out board and bluetooth connection to my phone app, this is now fine 13-14 volts max and no current once fully charged. The problem I now have is I believe the voltage surge with the old regulator has affected the immobiliser, as it will not recognise the keys and I have to override it inputting the code with the twistgrip before I can start it. I have two Black keys, the Red key and Code card. I have tried reprogramming the immobiliser with no luck. The flashing sequence of the immobiliser light I believe points to a problem with the serial line from the immobiliser to the ECU. The question is, is this a relatively easy fix, I am near Ducati Coventry so could book it in, or would deleting the immobiliser be the cheaper option? I don't tend to take the bike anywhere where not having the immobiliser would be a problem. Steve
