  1. I hope the following photographs speak volumes about this stunning product. It exudes quality throughout, and the design and welding are a work of art.

In my opinion, this is simply the best looking and most stable paddock stand I have used. It truly operates as if the weight of the bike is half that felt when using other stands, including Ducati branded FG Gubellini ones.

I understand this stand was a limited edition of 28 manufactured to celebrate the relaunch of Moto Cinelli in 2007 and was manufactured by the same San Marino based company retained by Ducati Corse.

It was purchased brand new from authorised Ducati Dealer Italia Moto in Lincoln by me in order to complement my newly acquired 1098S at the time and subsequently used for my now also sold 1198S.

Like my bikes it has been treated with reverence (!), and as such it's in excellent condition as can be seen from the photographs. It has always been dry stored.

The fitted pin is 40mm diameter and from my direct experience is suitable for the 1098 (except the very first production run before May 2007 which needs a differently sized spigot (42mm)) and 1198 series bikes. I’m also advised the pin size (and stand) fits the Streetfighter 1100, Multistrada MTS1200, Diavel and 1199 Panigale. It is also interchangeable with any Ducati Performance/FG Gubellini stand pins. Interested purchasers please satisfy themselves of application to their particular bike (I will seek to assist as best I can).

The photographs of just the stand were taken on 13th February this year.

First offer above £199 secures. Post and packaging at cost, or come and collect from near Stamford, Lincolnshire.

  2. Hi, what stops the bike sliding off the spigot ?

  3. Hi there Steve, simply the weight of the suspended bike through the axle. No movement at all, and solid as a rock! An amazing product. Given the size of the wheels and inherent stability it works well on uneven ground too - look at the slabs in the photos! All the best, Stephen

  4. Now sold. Would Moderators please close thread? Thanks, Stephen
