Moto Gp R6: Le Mans (spoilers)

Discussion in 'Racing & Bike Sport' started by Red899, May 8, 2025 at 12:58 PM.

  1. Acosta passed fit but Chantra misses out after both had arm pump surgery.

New rule in place for riders/idiots leaving the grid. Effectively start from same position but with a double long lap penalty.

Got a funny feeling Zarco will do better than Fabio, even after his podium in Jerez. Both on the podium would be the dream.

  2. Less said about the big class the better (again).

  3. All the guff that’s been spouted about 93 this year, Manu Gonzalez has been equally as dominant in moto 2 if not more, very impressive.

  4. The Italian ducati riders need to work better together. I know digi had that horrible injury but he’s been next to useless to Pecco and Frankie’s just Frankie.

When you look at the gresini team and 93 they always seem to be working together.

Well done Fabio though for making qualifying the spectacle it was.

  5. yeah but for balance half the Gresini team are related to 93, blood is thicker than water and all that.

They'd all better up their game when I go watch them at Silverstone none of this falling off bollocks........

  8. Oh my god.
    What a man.

  9. Chapeau my mate x

  10. ^^ I’ve a feeling that’s an imaginary mate..

Solid points this weekend for MM93. Played it safe and didn’t go banzai after Zarco.

  11. Could Pecco have had any more salt rubbed into his gaping wounds than finishing 16th?
    Grim weekend for him.

I think a few of us owe Fermin an apology or two as well lol.

  13. haha exactly. if u didn’t enjoy today you may as well pack up and go home.

  14. Well done Zarco, a well deserved result, 150th motpgp ride in front of home crowd. A result for him to remember.

Aldeguer, finally showing his talent ^^. Instead of arriving with a bang and throwing it down the road most weekends (Acosta?) he has just quietly improved and got used to the bike. Now showing serious pace.

As to the race overall though, what a bloody mess. Difficult to follow wtf was going on at times.

Not many weekends where the main class is the most entertaining these days.
And it was by a country mile.
