Iv always wondered what happens to all the bikes / parts once they are finished with in the GP or super bike. i would love to have a part form a GP bike up on the wall in my man cave. i know its a bit of a long shot but can anyone shed some light or point me in the right direction. iv looking on eBay and never found anything on there
At the moto gp at Silverstone last year there was a auction for Riders for Health there was a set of carbon race fairings auctioned of for less than £1000. Steve
tHERE USED TO BE WSB DUKE PARTS NOW AND AGAIN ON EBAY. I REMEMBER A NIKI748 USED TO POST A FEW AND A TARGETDUCATI? CAPS oops
WSB parts are fairly easy to come by, even complete bikes, not seen a lot if any genuine GP bits for sale in a long time
Ducati race bikes used to go to the museum, more recently they go straight to the skip Looks like there's some 899's in this one already...
Call Ducati, they might be happy to offload one of the current GP bikes, have a go at club racing, you never know, you might get a result near the podium !
Saw these guys at Goodwood - they had a few bike bits on the stand although most of the GP stuff on their website seems to be sold out.... Moto GP : Chequered Flag Collectables, Formula 1 (F1) Memorabilia
If it's Ducati MotoGP stuff then you can buy parts from Tony O'Neill at Target Motorsports. You need deep pockets though. He doesn't sell GP parts on ebay. If you want Ducati WSB parts I can certainly help you
Well there were two weren't there? A former Rossi bike that came nowhere, bought by a chap in the UK and a Stoner bike with a couple of wins under it's belt. I think Bike magazine said that sold for £220,000+
