My 2003 Multistrada 1000 is my first Ducati and although I've had V Twins before, Ducati's have their own personality. The previous owner had not serviced it for two and a half years and the belts were due as well as a few other items Looking through this forum and reading other members posts I decided on MOTO-V in Colchester. Glen the owner/technician is well known, even more so if you used to use Parkinson's in the past where he was one of the key technicians. Today nice and early I took the strada over to Glen's and the important stuff was dealt with first, a brew. Then throughout the morning not only was my bike being well looked after, serviced and checked out but I was also being educated. Glen had no problems with my questions, happy to talk me through my new toy, told me what was needed, might be needed and wasn't needed. Honestly I would have no problem recommending Glen if you want your Ducati or any bike looked after and the cost was very competitive. Like most of you, I've ridden bikes for a long time and I've always found there are bike shops you have to use but wish you didn't, bike shops you use but they do the job but that is all and there are bike shops where the owner/technicians absolutely love their bikes and it shows in their work. Those are the type of garages that are hard to find but I found one in MOTO-V.
