Conflicting reports in the press about whether the EU would implement this as currently worded. I read one report from January that the EU had agreed to exempt motorsport so long as the event organiser had adequate 3rd party cover. Still a burden given I don’t think in the UK, motorsport events provide indemnity against spectator injury. Not sure how this eventually be implemented for European track days which aren’t considered to be a motorsport and will fall under the current wording of the directive which requires comprehensive insurance against 3rd part injuries.
