Hi all! I know theres a few of you here who like a good bicycle trip out, and a few weeks back I was in Istanbul visiting some friends, and we managed to get out onto the local trails and had a great time. I had borrowed a bike from my mate's son (my usual ride is a Whyte PRST-4), a Specialized something or other, and I got on well with it... Until that is I pulled a nicely floated balance point wheelie, and shaded the rear brake to bring it back, when it went just over the tipping point... except that it didn't! It just kept on getting higher and higher, and I pulled on the brake harder and harder, till I ended up on my arse with serious gravel rash on my bum and one arm!!! What is it with people (probably Americans) who persist on putting brakes on bicycles the wrong way round? I mean, its bloody dangerous when all motorcycles have the front brake on the right bar, as do all bicycles in the right thinking world... Utter madness!
