Moved Over From The Dsc

  1. Hi, a long time Ducati owner but have not really done the forum thing for a while. Used to be active on the DSC forum, but seems dead nowadays!

    I currently own a 08 848 which ive had from 3 months old. Previously owned a 01 748R road bike and a 748R trackbike which was converted to 853 by Chris at CJS (what a bike wish id kept it!!)

    After test riding Italias 899 a few weeks back while mine was being serviced ive had a hanckering for a 899 but cant justify the cost of buying new! Has anyone else gone from 848 to 899??
    May sell off some goodies from my 848 and sell the 848 as standard!

  7. Have you passed the full test for this forum? things have changed over the years, El Toro will explain the procedure.

  11. Welcome to the forum, if you decide to go down the 899 route and sell the 848 let me know, recently had a hankering for an early bike.

  18. Welcome, I too was a regular on the DSC a very long time ago. The aggro got too great and I moved away from Ducati as they stopped building the ST, which at the time was the style of bike I wanted.

    Many of the old names appear to be here so your in good company.
