A couple of weeks into owning my PP I thought I'd share some initial thoughts versus the Evo SP Hyper. It's easier on the ass than the hyper after an hour in the saddle - the misses is up the duff so I haven't got her input yet but the pillion seat looks palatial! The brakes are good but not a patch on the hyper in the dry - both rear brakes are pretty crap Buffeting is better then the hyper but that doesn't say much really Miles per tank ok but fall well short of the long range tanked hyper - mind you your ass would require a stop before needing to refuel on the hyper It's not as agile as the hyper in the twisties and lacks the low end grunt Doesn't run out of breath like the hyper and pulls your arms off when you hit the mid range Much smoother throttle response than hyper although engine feels a bit rougher towards the top end Much more difficult for my lad to reach the pegs on the multi owing to seat width I think A top box back rest which gives me much more comfort with my lad on the back Luggage - I'm smiling Small things like a fuel gage and gear indicator shouldn't make me smile but they do Can't say I'm fussed about traction control but the abs is welcomed for commuting in wet Sky hook - I've no idea really other than I've not noticed a single suspension issue so I guess it's better than the hyper in ohlins In short the hyper feels like a toy and the multi a tool - or should that be power tool - and whilst I miss my hyper terribly I've no desire to give up the multi for it.
