Second ride of the year today. I had the bike up on an Abba stand to check the chain adjustment last night, and it stood outside under a cover overnight. On setting off this morning, I saw a "DES Preload Error" message, which went away when I restarted after filling up with fuel. Now some of my dash lights are faintly lit permanently (indicator telltales, engine management light). Would the DES Preload error be connected to having the suspension fully extended on the stand? I gather the dash lights are a common error-are they due to moisture? Should they improve if the dash dries out/warms up?
Once you have the glimmer it stays. Search speedo and led* for more info. When I get on a proper PC I'll post links. The DES error is more likely to be a connector issue.
