Anyone know what kind of ecu this is ? The bike (MY2011) has a full Termignoni system so it would stand to reason it's a Termignoni ECU. I get the MTS Racing on the dash at start up But Hyside Ducati have confirmed they put a Rexxer map on it in 2013. So it could be a Termignoni ECU with a Rexxer map maybe... The o2 sensors are disconnected with no fault codes. The bike runs well (rich...) in all of the rev range except for a flat spot just below 3k rpm where it appears to run lean, (It improves slightly with the DB killer in). Mileage is not great - around 35mpg on the London commute / up to 45ish on an easy long run. If it is the Termignoni ecu matched to the exhaust system I would have thought it shouldn't have a flat spot and get better mpg's ..? Any thoughts out there ? Cheers !
The "racing" display message doesnt look like mine (2010) which is definetly the official racing ecu because I had to replace it when putting in the termi...the digits on mine come up one at a time. Could be a "normal" ecu that has been modified - I know that the message is also customisable too so maybe someone had a go and tried to make it like the official termi one by changing the message...plus if the o2 sensors are out then that would probably need a ecu modification ?
Yes - I'm thinking it's possibly the the standard ecu with a Rexxer map overwritten on it ..? Will call Hyside Ducati to check if they program in the "MTS RACING" bit on the display when they load the Rexxer map.
Checked mine and the digits scroll from left to right and then stay on. Called Hyside Ducati and they don't program messages with Rexxer maps but confirmed it is possible as they've had one bike in with "Jesus Saves" on the dash screen... :Nailbiting:
