Hi everyone. I asked for advice on road tyres February 2019 and went with Michelin pilot 5’s. Been bloody brilliant. 5000 miles later the rear is shot. The 170 rear has a very curved profile which makes the edges of the tyre unused. I used the rear tyre to the edge on my monster 1200r so it’s nothing to do with my corner speed. Has anyone tried a smaller tyre or one with a less ‘domed’ profile? And if so, what tyre/size did you try?Thanks in advance.
