Got a 2011 Touring S. Has anyone ever had this situation? No rider and luggage icon on startup. can change riding modes but further press of reset won't bring up the LOAD icons, but servo works when riding modes are changed DES doesn't even appear on the set up menu, engine and DTC does.
This sounds like the bike has forgot its an S. Have you tried a battery disconnect for a while, and then go through the setup menu when you reconnect it ? If that doesnt work you may need a visit to the dealers to rectify it by plugging it in to their pooter.
Turns out the dealer who sold it to me changed the BBS unit and hadn't initialised it properly and as a now ex Ducati main dealer couldn't fix it. But they did ask Ducati Nottingham to help and I rode over and they cleared all error codes and initialised the unit properly for free, so credit to them.
