Hi Folks, I was hoping someone may be able to help me me a query I have. I'm rebuilding a 2014 1200 MTS. It was not looked after but has 25k miles on it and is going to be a good bike when finished. I'm working my way around the bike and noticed the attached image of the relays, but it looks like one is missing from a holder. I'm wondering if someone can tell me if some multis only have two relays in this location and depending on spec, may have 3. This would make sense why I have two. The wire with the red tape looks like the aux power feed for a GPS etc. haven't checked it but reasonably sure that's what it is. Any thoughts and help would be greatly appreciated.
If there is one thing you can say about those relays, it's they don't last forever. Sooner or later they will fail. You can replace them soon - or wait until they let you down.
