Hi guys Just replaced gear selector springs in doing so i had the clutch slave cylinder & side stand switch fastened up out of the way. When i cut the cable tie to refit everything this rubber bit fell down onto the floor...i ain't got a clue where it has come from? Anyone help as its now holding me back.
The front of the petrol tank is mounted to the frame on rubber mounts. There are two each side. Your photo looks like one of them. The part number is 866.1.109.1A - Pad
Thanks that had me doing a lot of head scratching! Has been in and had a new sender unit fitted a while back...guess its been floating about till i started pulling a few bits!
... so this means the petrol tank is not correctly mounted. You might like to sort that out before it damages something else.
Yes i will need to take a look at that & tell Ducati Manchester if i find its not as it was them that did the job on the fuel sender which they removed the tank!
