Multistrada S Front Brake

2012 Multistrada S Touring

hi all, first bike ive had with abs so dont know if this is normal.
havent had the bike long and i noticed that i can make the front brake lever touch the grip with not much force.
The bike seems to stop normaly.

P.s got the bike from ducati used with 8k miles, the front master cylinder was shot and was replaced before i took delivery

Any input would be appreciated

Sounds like it wasn't properly bled after the master cylinder change.

It is most definitely not "normal". Take it back to get it sorted.

999 with straight through can plus PC 3

Saw a recommendation recently to tie your lever back to the bars to get the last few air bubbles
out after bleeding.
Will this technique work as any kind of substitute for conventional bleeding I wonder?
