  1. Guys, I am selling my R here in Dubai - thought someone in UK might be interested due to price:

    Purchased via Ducati Dubai; Registered May 2013

    Euro spec bike

    430km only

    Never ridden on road, track only. Not thrashed - run in well.

    Track prepared - full carbon fairings (Ilmberger). All road gear (fairings and lights etc taken off and stored from new); race exhaust system fitted.

    UK buyer would have to arrange and pay for freight, deal with paper work, pay duties etc.

    Asking price - £16,500.00; I have UK bank account so no international transfers required.

    Delivery photo and how bike looks now FYI.

    I'm guessing any buyer is looking at +20% vat, plus import duty, plus shipping and insurance costs ?
    Then MPH Clocks, unless can change between kph and mph on the clocks? Also a UK LED headlight.

  7. Yep, good old HMRC will bum you all the way and I'm sure if you check their small print they'll be a bumming tax so they can tax you for being bummed!. :Mooning:

  16. ^ cheers. Now got to work out best way to sell the bits off the SL.......

    anyone want brand new Akro system and the Ohlins forks?? Bike going to Moto Rapido so buyer can collect :D

  18. ^ - always wanted to do a special project ever since I watched Foggy on the 888 and then 916. Around that era, every time I went to JHP they had some super project bike in there and/or some pukka race bikes and the idea just grew. Missed out on the Desmo so time and chance bring me to the SL. Have been planning this for a over a year as was one of the very first to learn about the SL. Koen inspired me too. Met Steve at MR January and we have been planning something special since.

    Should be an interesting project and the bike should end up pretty good. We shall see.
