My 2 Old Girls.

  1. 1976 T140V, and a slightly modified 1978 T140E. I have re-built them both from the crank up over the past 6 yrs. [IMG]

  4. Slightly modded? Not quite like the T140E I had back in 78. Seems to have braking devices and carburettors that don't leak. Just a few minor bits. Actually put together rather than knocked up inbetween turning up late and tea break. Happy days:) lovely.

  8. No, they would probably lynch me!:) Especially as the T140E has modified Kawasaki Z650 wheels, and the front brake caliper is off a 'modern' Triumph Street Triple!

  10. I think you will find that they are far more relaxed than you think, especially as the March issue of the club magazine had a much modified 27 year old T300 Trident as the cover story.

What you have done to your machine is just minor tinkering when you read the list of mods done to this bike.

Not only do you get the monthly 50 page A4 glossy mag but the technical expertise on the forum is obviously Nulli Secundus. All for £20 a year, a snip.

Whenever appropriate I give them a glimpse of my 20 year old SS and some real bling.

  13. Your cambelt covers are very nicely done. Did you have them made, or are those available from some specialist?

I like that Trident, but its not as beautiful as the original -though I expect it out does it in every other way.

  14. Poor sod didn't have a lot of luck hanging on to the back seat. Hope you went back to pick them up.:)
