I've realised that when I joined this group, I committed a cardinal sin and never posted my bins! And now I have a new one! As I was in hospitals between March and October last year, no gardening was done. I've started this year but as I can't stand up for very long, it is hard! And my old shredder packed up in disgust! So I've got a new one but nowhere to put the waste. So, I've stumped up for a garden waste bin. Here, they don't take garden waste here unless you buy a bin and pay an annual fee for it to be collected. My garage now contains only two bikes (the Monster was written off and destroyed). I was in the middle of a valve clearance check on the ST2 last March and that is why it has no fairing on and is on the bench. Behind it, you may be able to make out my ST3. That needs new mirrors fitted left and right as well as a new battery - I have the battery on charge but it's not yet fitted. The ST2 battery was also expired but I've replaced it on the bike. I'm hoping that my insurance claim will pay for the batteries. I've sent receipts to my sol and she has added them to the claim - along with helmet, gloves, jacket, trousers and... just thought! I haven't claimed for my underpants! Everything was incinerated, apparently, as it was covered in blood. The helmet was saved and given back to me, but it's scrap as I know that I got a good bang on the head!
