Well I've just arrived safely back in portsmouth, so let's get started, left here at 1130hrs on Wednesday heading for N. Wales, thought I would get a move on straight up the m27 round the m3 and onto the a34 till I hit the m4 slung a left all way to membury services were my lovely young lady wanted to get something to eat, met a very nice gentleman who asked were I was heading, he then advised me if I had the time to head to Cardiff and pick up the a470 which I did, so of I went heading towards Merthyr Tydfil, and then up to pen y fan Here's the missus at the lake!! So then carried on heading north up through to Builth wells, the roads were very good even riding to up I could still get a move on and the missus was still enjoying the scenery all though here she is lookin a little tired, onwards again what an epic little adventure the 470 is an amazing road, so eventually we got to betws y coed, we stayed at the ferns guest house which was lovely and highly recommended, well that was day one, so day too done a massive loop along the llanberis pass all the way up to the coast all the way back down the a5 and round to lake Bala, and then headed back up north and back to betws y coed, what a ride the missus loved it I loved the roads and would defo say do it if you haven't already the scenery was amazing and the ride was even better, the return journey was slightly boring a5, m6,m42, m40, a34, m3 and m27 back home but what can I say 12hours on the bike covering 700 miles epic!!
