916 Mystery Connector

anyone know what this part is??



it's mounted on the bracket that holds the headlight bracket to the headstock.

it has magneti marelli on it and a red/white & blue wire going into it.

underneath it 2 wires coming out into what looks like a small capacitor?

 

thanks for that....makes sense i suppose..

guess i'll have to plug that back in then.
