  1. hi
i ordered a navihalter for bike. anyone got a pic of a locking device (touratech ?) to lock garmin zumo 390 in place. a pic would be much appreciated. or any other lockable units to fit garmin.
    thanks if you can help

would like to see if its to big and bulky with lock in place.ie sticks out to far

  2. Hi i have the Navihalter, touratech mount and same Garmin

I had to fit spacer bars between the Navihalter main part and the Navihalter Garmin Mount plate to move out the mount from the screen and up further so the dash was still fully visible.

The touratech mount looks ok from rider position

But the whole assy is a bit naff when looking from front of bike

The extra weight also causes more vibration on unit

So i fixed that by connecting the navihslter bracket to the screen for extra support

I then used plastic matt black paint and painted out the inside of the screen so that from front you can not see navihalter

Will post pics tonight when i get home

I also run a cut down screen to reduce buffeting

The overall solution is good but a bit of work and expense

The touratech mount is lockable but 2 minutes with a screwdriver and you could still have nav away.

But i have 2 one on scrambler too

So i thought it was secure enough
