Need Help 3a Fuse For Diagnostics? Bike Dead

Wen to go for a ride and the bike was dead. Still not sure whats up
    BUT
I did find a 3a fuse labeled "Diagnostics" blown...
    A) would that create the symptoms of the bike showing absolutely no power (At ALL)
    B) Did I fry it trying to charge the battery through that port under the seat with too much power?
(This is what I think happened)
I looked at all of the fuses in the 2 blocks. No others have failed.

  2. The 3A fuse supplies 12V from the battery to the diagnostic connecter which, as you know, can be used to charge the battery. The battery will draw whatever current it needs depending on how flat it is. If it was very flat it could pull enough current to blow the fuse, assuming your charger can supply that much.
It would also blow if you connected the charger with the polarity reversed or shorted the connector to ground.
It shouldn't be possible to damage any other circuits so that may not be why your bike is dead. What's the battery voltage?

  3. Dont know the voltage yet.
I have zero function. nothing. going out to get some fuses and dig deeper.
I am sure now that I must have fried the fuse.
By the end of the day I will know if I need a battery or what. I still need to find the starter and the fuses there...

    Thank you
    Rex
