Can't believe how awful the OE mirrors are so decided to look at bar end mirrors to augment being able to see behind you. Chose an Oberon option and yes, it looks a bit odd but you have a rear view. Andy

Just to follow up and close this thread out, used in anger the other day and the mirror was a big improvement. Bit odd remembering to look down but the mirror produced a clear view and did not suffer from any vibration. Andy
I traded my Supersport S for the Panigale R. SS mirrors were *absolutely awful*, vibrations making the blur uselessly. Panigale mirrors mount in the same fashion to underlying frame elements, but are much clearer. Presumably it’s the length of the mirror stalk being excited into harmonious vibes? Why can’t Ducati simply change the length/thickness/construction to move the frequency at which they vibrate? And whilst they’re at this, make the Panigale mirrors fold like the Supersport ones…
I think the folding feature of the SS mirrors might have a lot to do with the blurry mirrors. On mine at any rate there is a few thou of free movement at the pivot which surely can't help.
