Hi all, For those with the Nemesis TC - does it bring up a dash code error 10.2? My bike has only 1000miles and scrolling through the panel the other day realised it was showing an error 10.2 which means one of the horizontal coil - but can't remember if that is normal or not. Otherwise - does anyone know how much a coil would be for a desmo? Thanks
Yes, it's normal and is on the 1st page of your instruction manual. You can get rid of it by installing a Nemesis ECU, but will have to live with it with the standard ECU. You'll also have a COIL 11.2 error for the vertical cylinder(s). My 1098R has the same errors and is nothing to worry about. The engine diagnostic light also stays illuminated (orange light)
Ah - thank you very much - i had a suspicion but didn't want to be riding around on 3 cylinders just in case.
Here's the user manual for the Nemesis TC system, in case you don't have it. https://www.bikesportdevelopments.co.uk/v/vspfiles/assets/images/pdf downloads/bike sport developments nemesis-tcs_system manual_v1.09s.pdf Or more likely, this one for a 4 cyl bike. https://www.bikesportdevelopments.c...ort developments win-tc 4c manual_v2.05_a.pdf
I'm tempted to buy one of these for the 'R' to get the pasky engine management light to go out. But it's a lot of money just for that. M197 Microtec ECU
