i have a neotec 2 with the helmet specific sena unit fitted. I have an upcoming trip and a mate I am riding with doesn’t have an intercom. He is a tight arse so if he buys an intercom it would Have to be cheap. Does any intercom paid with the sena or does it have to be another sena? I plan to scour eBay for a cheap kit just for this trip
If it's anything like the same function on the 10U then the compromise will be yours not his. When we tried mine paired with my similarly tight arsed mate who had a cheap Chinese headset we could talk but this cut out all other inputs for me so I couldn't hear my sat nav etc. He wound up buying a Sena too and they're been great apart from the occasional lockup that required a helmet off reset with a pin in the hole of one of the ear pieces. YMMV
My main ride budy and I both had/still have Interphone Tours. I recently bought a Neotec 2 with the SRL. I have had mine paired with his Interphone by the comms wizard at our local J&S, and I can still use my phone as well. Don't have nav, other than whats on my phone and that works fine. Stuart
