Hi everyone! Just to introduce myself, I have owned a 1098S for a little over a week now and absolutely loving it! Rode it home from a private sale 100 miles from home with a bit of apprehension but it is really comfy, even compared to my previous bike a VFR800! The mirrors are a bit hit and miss (can't see much around my large bulk!) but that aside, all good. My only previous Ducati was a splendid 900SS that I rode once for 20 minutes before being totalled by a "oops sorry, didn't see you" car driver. Minor injuries me, 900SS write off! A tip on the mirrors fella. If you're big and tall (like wot i is), if you can get hold of the even shorter Ducati Performance mirrors, with a little bit of a wing flap you can look through them under your arm
