New Boots

  1. I bought a new set of Dainese Laguna Seca leathers recently. The problem I have is that the leather is very thick at the calf with the shin protector etc and so they will not fit inside my Alpine Stars Super tech R's ...... I have tried everything but nope, because of the inner shoe in the Super Tech , they won't go in.

Does anybody know of a brand or design of boot e.g Sidi that offers a nice wide calf so that I can overcome this problem ?

    Thanks

  2. What about a Dainese 'in' boot ?

  3. The Dainese out boot takes the leathers. Its tight, you loosen off the back Velcro to get the leathers to fit. Its not a great fit, but it works.

Its the shin guard that messes everyone's boots up. As above, I think they are really designed for a dainese in boot. Bit of a pain.

  4. yep, they are. Been looking at alternatives and quite like the Dainese Giro St, or the Sido Vertigo Evo .

    Anyone tried these ?

  5. Had the same problem with Dainese trousers, boots that worked for me where Sidi ST. Now they've broken in I wouldn't change them in a hurry, not the cheapest but a superb boot.
