1988 tri-colour 851

hi everyone My name is John O'Keefe I have just purchased a 1988 851 Tri Colour.
I live in Queensland Australia.
This is my second ever road bike and my first Ducati.
It is early days but does anyone know if there is a drive gear to suit the 270 km speedo when you go from the 16 in wheel to the17in wheel.
