Oz are making new aluminium forged wheels that are lighter than the piega series and in some cases lighter than the BST carbon fibre option. Still not as light as their magnesium option. These have been out for a while for the 1299 as I've been contemplating how I can get the purchase past the CFO (missus). Speak to Bike Torque Racing as they distribute OZ in the U.K.

Bit disappointing that they can't tell me the weights on what would be £1700 or £2100 purchases. Pretty shocking when that is your business and the main reason anyone would be buying is because of their weight!! I did find the weight of these online somewhere.
In the same boat - trying to get a set Marchesinis past the other half for my z1000....shes not having none of it.....

i was looking out for a deal on these at the NEC at the weekend but oculdnt get one. came away with a new Arai RX7 Doohan though and a few other bits and bobs. If a decent used set come up for sale I would have them or will wait for the winter sales. can't believe how heavy the standard wheels are
