New shape termi's for 848/1098/1198

I know they are hard to get hold of 2nd hand but there are always plenty of 848/1098/1198 for sale on Trader/ebay etc and also at any one time,prob a fair few owners trading bikes in at a dealers for something else (new Pani ?? ) and a few have prob got new shape Termis on which wont make them any more money for the bike on the sale/trade in as opposed to having a pair of original shape Termis on the bike so would make sense to swop with my cans and get a nice big extra wedge of cash for the ten minutes it takes to swop them over!

  6. Question: are the new shape cans from an 848 compatible with those for a 1098/1198?

  8. They are the same but if you were to mix the link pipes you'd find the spring clips are now on the outside of the new cans.
