After lots of deliberations and mulling over I've gone back to shoei, had a kiyo race rep 10 or so yrs ago loved it fit ventilation visibility and so on. Then tried a HJC ghost Lorenzo rep never really took to it looked great but it wasn't a patch on the shoei.just my humble opinion anyhow. https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/432288
Ive always had a Shoei but been looking at the X_lite 803 rr. The GT Air is my current one, great bit of kit
Sold the HJC when i sold my blade 4yrs ago.and my kiyo rep the kids have been playing with the paat few years.so thought it best to start agian after a few years break from bikes
Had Shoei for the last 20 years not brave enough to risk being disappointed really currently a NXR and an GT Air , Same with Oxtar/TCX boots
When I was working in London, there was a deal on at Infinity, I think it was, on Arai. I had been wearing Arai for years. When I got there, they had run out of Arai. "So, what about a Shoei?", the sales guy asked. I thought that I didn't have the Shoei head shape but I tried one on and it was perfect. So, I bought it. Now back to Arai. I couldn't get on with the visor system. I used it on a European tour but a dark visor hides the mechanism to remove the visor and so you are stuck. The Arai system is far superior in my opinion.
I have Arai's and Shoei's - I much prefer my Arai's in fit and appearance. In fact my Shoei is living up in my attic now - I alternate the two Arai's when riding
Used to use Arai but wouldnt go back from a Shoei. Bit of a bummer when your away and the side panel on an Arai breaks.
