I've just bought this 748S in South Africa and am fixing a few electrical niggles prior to the SA equivalent of an MOT. There was no wiring or bulb holder for the number plate lamp so I went looking to see what I could find to replace it. I found a Hella unit (VF4001) which is identical bar the method of fixing the lamp lens to the body and the bulb used, all for about GBP2.50. I thought that might be interesting to anybody else looking for a replacement. I'd like to get the bike back to as close to original as possible. Does anyone have a good source for a yellow front mudguard (in the UK)? I'm also after some original footpegs as the ones on there are pretty nasty. I have seen them come up on ebay from time to time. Next steps are to replace all fluids and the belts. Thanks Jonathan
