Greetings from USA looking forward to reading threads and interacting with fellow motorcycle enthusiasts on the Ducati front. Had a 2013 Pikes Peak loved the bike but it was in the shop under warranty many times for skyhook issues Looking to potentially get the V4 PP, I go through bikes like norovirus on a digestive system and for me to consider another MTS says alot (at least for me) either that or a Diavel (had a 14) but the MTS is more practical even in the sportier variant.
Load of past bikes as well out of all of them my favs are my 08 CBR1000R, 13 Diavel, 13 Pikes Peak.... and hopefully the PPV4 will make this favs list..... let's see Tuesday when I pick her up
Currently.... well I was on a 22 S1000XR as of yesterday, I think that bike is the tits....by chance I ran into a demo day at my dealership and had a chance to test the PPV4.... big mistake, I asked to test ride it again for another time where I can have more than 10 minutes on it... and that's what sealed it for me....I was on the fence for a bit cause I'd be giving up a few amenities that the BMW has that's very touring friendly like heated grips, center stand, sat nav prepped and the Duc didn't have these and cost appx $10K more.... Honestly the heated grips should be included at that price.. I mean there's a button for it and that annoyed me....but the Duc won and my practical side is just pissed off at me and not on talking terms right now... Just something about these damn Ducs and with Audi involvement its got to be better compared to a decade ago..... I hope. Also seems that all the things I disliked about the 13PP is resolved on the V4 Like stupidly wide bars, tall seat height, faulty semi-active suspension, and that lumpy low end
