New Valve Guides & Seat Cut Recommendations

  1. Hi, my 1100 Hyper evo needs new guides at 42k miles as they were pretty loose last time I reshimmed, now due another reshim but want to do guides this time, any recommendations for guide re furb & proper seat cut.

  2. Speak to Northampton engine services. They recut my 924 seats.
     
  3. Cylinder Head Services near Northampton recently did a first class job on my Guzzi heads for a very reasonable price.

  5. I know my engine builder sent my head to a company in Northampton just not sure who it was.. > they changed the valve seat angles... I don't know if the same company also machined the head and crankcases for compression. One of his team would have carried out the port work etc...

    My motor made 10hp more on the same dyno than my other engine of a similar tune built by someone else. If I am correct you don't lap Ti valves in, so they must have been a pucker job. All my engines are leak down tested to make sure.
