The standard wings are very rough and hard to clean and the carbon ones are silly money so I bought some of these cnc machined ones from Italy. I don’t intend doing 180mph to find out if the originals work Bike looks slimmer.
Definitely an improvement in the looks department (IMO) - have you got a pic showingthe whole bike with them fitted? Can you feel any difference riding it?
Not mine but they look like this. I will get a picture later. Makes no difference at all to me although I don’t go mental top end on the road.
i got these sent from US (complete pain in the arse) but have now carbon wrapped the wings if anyone wants them? https://www.bellissimoto.com/parts/frame-plugs/Gilles-Winglet-Cover-Kit-Ducati-Streetfighter-V4-S
Be great to see a picture from a couple of angles when yours are fitted. If I get a SF I'd have to change the standard black plastic wings because of how cheap they look. So it'd be carbon or something like this
Wings on a sit up and beg.... not exactly needed are they. That looks far better than the stupid wings TBH.
Here you go, pictures today. And link, https://www.evotech-rc.com/product/24843/kit-alette-ducati-streetfighter-v4-s-1100#ad-image-0
Yep, definite improvement, almost as good as the frame plugs mentioned above! IMO. Like the radiator shrouds.
Like that. Been looking at streetfighter winglet's to give me an idea of what I can do with the standard plastic ones. £999 for oem carbon ones? Someone is having a laugh Even after market carbon ones are like £600? Wtf? They're tiny fairly basic shaped bits of carbon, absolutely ZERO reason they should be that much imo
I realised when I took the original wings off that they have a screw on the inner lip. I was wondering if you take this out the top and bottom of the wing will come apart. This would mean you could wrap the top part and the wrap edges would be hidden inside the lower part. I too looked at the £1000+ price for the Ducati ones and even cheaper ones are £500-£600+.
